Based in North Cornwall, Padstow is a great destinations for holidays in Cornwall all year round. Centred around a beautiful harbour, this is a quintessentially Cornish fishing port that has several stunning sandy beaches nearby.
If you’re looking for self-catering accommodation, we have six beautiful holiday cottages in the centre of town, and one, Thyme Cottage, is close by, yet in a rural location on the outskirts of town, close to the captivating Camel Trail.
Since Padstow is located on the banks of the River Camel, it is only 2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean, making it the perfect place for exploring for walks along the river or beach. With our self-catering holiday cottages, you can make the most of all the area has to offer.
As with other areas of Cornwall, parts of Padstow may be familiar since it’s been a popular filming location, with the area having appeared in such shows as Doc Martin.
It is home to Prideaux Place, a beautiful historic house which has been used for the TV dramatisation of many of Rosamunde Pilcher's books, along with several other German television shows (which therefore means Padstow is highly popular with German tourists!). This house has also been used in filming for Twelfth Night and ITV's Wycliffe.
