The popularity of Padstow has exploded over the past few years. So, why is this part of North Cornwall so attractive to holidaymakers?
With our self-catering holiday cottages in Padstow, you’ll be a stone’s throw from the many treasures this area has to offer. Whether you love soft sandy beaches, hiking along the coastline or historic attractions like the Elizabethan manor house Prideaux House, Padstow has all this and more.
There are many exciting celebrations in this part of Cornwall throughout the seasons, from what’s known as Obby ‘Oss Day, to the wonderful festivities of May Day. Costumed horses are paraded through the streets to herald the beginning of spring.
Whether you love to be the centre of the action or prefer a more tranquil location, our self-catering holiday cottages are both comfortable and affordable. We have six cottages based in the centre of town and another on Padstow’s famous Camel Trail.
There are many famous filming locations in this part of Cornwall, including the spectacular headland Stepper Point which was used in the brooding BBC drama Poldark, based on the novels of Winston Graham. Both Prideaux Place and Porthcothan Beach have also been used in this popular series. Many locations near here have also been used for series like Doc Martin.
