*Area:* Padstow is a picturesque little fishing town on the North Cornish coast, it has a wealth of small shops to browse around and plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes. By contrast, a newly built out-of-town superstore makes Padstow the ideal base for those seeking a self-catering family holiday.
		*There are several beautiful sandy beaches nearby, with parking, such as Harlyn Bay, Trevone, Constantine and Hawkers Cove to name but a few.*
			*On May 1^st each year, Padstow heralds the coming of summer with its 'Obby 'Oss festival - an age old tradition dating back over 1000 years.* *From dawn until dusk, the rival Red and Blue 'Osses cavort with revellers, to the beat of primeval drums.* Padstow holds its own Summer Carnival in August, as do many other local towns and villages, such as St.Columb, St. Merryn and St. Issey.
